IH2O Water Activation System Frequently Asked Questions

What type of water should I use in the IH2O system?

The GIA Wellness IH2O water activation system is designed to convert water molecules into single file alignment. Although it does have antibacterial properties, it is not a water filtration system.

We recommend using pure, filtered or distilled water. You can use any water processed by reverse osmosis, activated carbon, etc.

Can I activate the water for more than 30 minutes?

The optimal activation time is 30 minutes. You will not get additional benefits from activating water for more than 30 minutes.

How long does the water remain activated?

Stored at room temperature, the activated water will remain in single file alignment for 15 days. If it is refrigerated, it will remain activated for 30 days.

The colder you store the IH2O activated water, the longer its single file alignment structure will remain intact.

Will the water remain activated when I cook with it or mix it into food and juices?

Heat alters the structure of the activated water. It can be warmed up for tea but we do not recommend boiling it for a long period of time.

Does the activated water need to be stored out of sunlight?

We do not recommend that it is stored in high heat.

Can I wash fruits and vegetables with IH2O activated water?

Yes, Gia Wellness IH2O activated water has demonstrated to keep washed vegetables and fruits fresher for a longer period of time in the refrigerator.

Does the activated water need to be stored in a particular container?

We do not recommend storing the activated water in metal container for a long period of time. You can store the water in metal bottles if you will be drinking water within approximately 24 hours (the same day).

When you purchase your IH2O system, you will also receive BPA free plastic and glass bottles for storage.
