Electromagnetic fields and radiation damage DNA and enhance cell death rates and therefore they are a Ubiquitos universal genotoxic carcinogen that enhances the rates of cancer, cardiac, reproductive and neurological diseases and mortality in human populations. Therefore, there is no safe threshhold level. The only safe exposure level is zero, a position confirmed by dose-response trends in epidemiological studies.

Dr. Henry Lai of University of Seattle, Washington reported that his research has consistently concluded that microwaves (emitted from cell phones) change the normal function of the brain and the secretion of critical brain substances.As a result, LEARNING AND SHORT TERM MEMORY are impaired.

In 1993, DR. GEORGE CARLO, public health scientist, epidemiologist, lawyer, founder of the Science and Public Policy Institute and chairman of Wireless Technology Research (WTR), was hired by the cell phone industry to study the safety of it`s product. In May of 1999, WTR announced that a scientific study on human blood cells preformed at integrated laboratory systems in Triangle Park, North Carolina revealed a tripling of chromosome damage caused by cell phone radiation. According to Dr. Carlo, "THIS IS A STRONG LINK TO CANCER".

Scientific studies conducted by Dr. Sobel (UCLA) in Finland and Los Angeles have concluded, reporting a consistent and significant increase in the risk of ALZHEIMERS in occupationally exposed individuals (television repairmen, seamstresses,etc.).

There are 30,000 to 50,000 new cases of BRAIN AND EYE CANCERS each year worldwide attributed to the use of cell phones. (Carlo)

In 1997, Dr. Maria Feychting of Karolinska Institute, Stockholm, Sweden reported that women under the age of 50, exposed to EMFS above 2mG (average radiation fields) have an 80% increased incidence of BREAST CANCER.

A study conducted by Dr.Lennart Hardell, Professor of Oncology at University Hospital of Orebro, Sweden, July 2005, reported that cell phones in rural areas deliver a higher dose of radiation because they have to transmit a stronger signal to distant towers, verses towers in urban areas which are closer together. In reference to the group of people studied within the Swedish countryside, the chance of developing MALIGNANT BRAIN TUMORS was roughly eight times higher for cell phone users.

In July 1998, a scientific study, convened by the National Institute of Health Sciences, concluded that even ELF (extremely low frequency) fields should be regarded as possible CARCINOGENS! (I.e., the internal circuitry of a cell phone emits ELFs as do many ELECTRICAL APPLIANCES USED IN HOUSEHOLDS)
